Need a Sr J2EE Developer//NY//6-12 Months
Job Title: Sr J2EE Developer
Location: NY
Duration: 6-12 Months
Job Discription:
Application Architecture & Component Design and Development: This being the primary activity would require working on one or more products through the product life cycle. (70%)
Testing: Follow Test Driven Development guidelines to perform Unit, Integration, and Load testing. (10%)
Production On Call Support: as part of team rotation, perform Level 2 (24*7) production support (5%)
Performance Fine-tuning: Work on increasing the application throughput and response times and working through constraints. (10%)
Release Management: As a team member, would be supporting product releases on weekends a couple of times every quarter. (5%)
Basic Qualifications
Superior communication skills
Extensive experience working with JavaScript GUI frameworks especially ExtJS
5-10 years of application development experience with multi-tier architectures
5-7 years Java/J2EE experience including multithreading, synchronization, collections, and common Java design idioms
Experience working with industry leading application servers (Tomcat, Jboss) including JMS and performance-tuning application servers
Solid experience working in an Service-Oriented-Architecture environment – building and consuming services
Strong OO Analysis and Design Patterns experience
Strong database skills, preferring experience with Sybase (12.5 / above) or DB2 (8.x/9.x)
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with C# GUI and service consumption development
