Working under the guidance of a Senior Application Developer, the applicant will be responsible for programming, documenting, and unit testing code for the TRaCS project, as well as general email and telephone support to Troopers in the field.
The Traffice and Criminal Software (TRaCS) is a field reporting system that allows states to automate paper-based forms and processes into eReporting and eFiling in an efficient and high value format. PA State Police has used TRaCS to automate and eFile all crash reporting with PennDOT and automate and eFile the Traffic Citation process with PA and the City of Philadelphia Court Systems. PA State Police is now in the process of updating the TRaCS software to the newest version in order to automate PSP Criminal Reporting. This endeavor is the primary work focus for the applicant.
