Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Sr. Web Administrator for a 6 month contract to hire opportunity located in Mather, CA.

Key Job Requirements

•  Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with DOS, Information Services and affiliate personnel

•  Detailed understanding of server, network, storage, database, interface and security technologies as they apply to an enterprise web services architecture

•  Leadership of complex, inter-organizational technical project.

•  Develop, maintain, distribute, coordinate the implementation of and monitor compliance with infrastructure systems standards

•  Develop a training program for junior web architecture personnel, recommend and prioritize vendor training courses

•  Create the infrastructure support guidelines for new systems

•  Lead the creation of the detailed system infrastructure issue triage and escalation processes for SharePoint

· Experience with Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, AIX, and Red Hat Linux OS Platforms for various web and data management applications.

· Administer production web presence in an N tiered environment using Sharepoint .Net Framework components, Websphere 6.0 Application Server, JBoss with EAP 5.0, and Microsoft IIS 6.0/7.0 web front ends

•  Develop and maintain a DOS hardware and software version tracking system(s)

•  Become proficient with SiteMinder installation and troubleshooting

•  Lead the technical effort to upgrade the Business Objects environment

Responsibilities:

•  Analyze system performance requirements and develop and substantiate the required hardware and software infrastructure change options as they apply to server, network, storage, security, et al

•  Provide detailed technical planning support for and lead system architecture implementations

•  Track and monitor hardware and software versions of all DOS infrastructure and recommend and substantiate infrastructure change action options

•  Responsible for ensuring new DOS system infrastructure support guidelines are met and working with web product managers/web support personnel to create detailed system infrastructure issue triage and escalation processes

•  Administer, maintain peak performance of and lead issue resolution efforts for the assigned DOS systems

•  Develop, implement and maintain test plans for key system functions for both upgrade and support purposes
