Job Duties include:
with up to 30% travel required
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Engineering field with more than 5 years of demonstrable professional experience in Java/J2EE based server-side application development or masters degree with more than 2 years experience.
- Understands the principles of Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns and relational DB.
- Experience in Flex technology a major plus.
- Solid understanding of Java, JSP, Servlet, XML, Struts, Spring.
- Strong working knowledge of the Oracle 11g database, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures and basic SQL tuning.
- Eclipse and OO Design tools (TogetherJ, Rational) experience.
- Experience installing and configuring different web and application servers
- Good understanding of the JEE deployment process and build tools like Apache Ant, Maven etc..
- Must demonstrate working knowledge of Tomcat
- Must have a good understanding of the Unix and Windows operating system
- Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Experience in handling technical workshops with customers
- Experience in working efficiently with remote teams.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, while effectively managing priorities and communicating progress
- Must be able to obtain a government security clearance
