Location: Troy, MI
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
OVERVIEW:
The IS Oracle ERP Technical Lead Resource works with and takes directions from the Oracle ERP Deployment Project Manager for the CVA Implementation. This role focuses on understanding business requirements and translating them to deliverable Statement of Work and specification documents for the following process areas: Purchase to Pay, Forecast to Complete, Quote to Cash, Production Support and Financial Modules. The IS Oracle ERP Technical Lead Resource is responsible working with the Functional Process Leads on solution adoption, business requirement clarification and technical specification finalization. The responsibilities would also include coordination with Development on the customizations along with setting up and providing test data during the development phases and final Unit testing of the customizations before releasing to the users.
Ideal candidates will have strong experience in Oracle 11i, with strong technical, communication, coordination, solution designing, and testing capabilities. The candidate would also be expected to provide help support functional requirement validation and coordination for data conversion activities, reporting, and interface activities with non-Oracle modules.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Work with the functional Process Lead for the After Market Oracle Implementation
• Assist in functional and system design specifications as agreed with the Process Leads
• Ensure strong working relationship with Process Leads and Development team
• Help validate and design and specification proposals or Statement of Work documents as directed by the Functional Process Lead
• Oversee Unit Testing of delivered customizations
• Problem definition and resolution

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration or a field related to the application area preferred.
• 10-15 years of system design and implementation work experience in a related applications area
• Experience with Oracle E-business suite Applications (11.5.10 preferred)
• Experience with following process areas: Purchase to Pay, Forecast to Complete, Quote to Cash, Production Support and Financial Modules
• Experience in the Automotive industry and understanding of Manufacturing Systems concepts, after market/warehouse solution implementation experience a plus
• At least 3-5 years of management experience
• Track record of leading successful design and/or implementation Oracle ERP deployments
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to work independently
• Good written and oral communication skills to convey ideas and problem solutions
• Ability to work with clear directions with Technical and Functional teams
